The bus from Lugano
Bus C12 to Menaggio
Ticket: ca. 6 €, Duration: ca. 30 min
Departure times in the afternoon: 15:50, 17:20 (not on Sundays!), 18:45
You can buy the ticket from the bus driver.
Alternatively, you can buy the ticket in this app: Android, iOS. In the app go to “Buy tickets” → Select “ASF Como” → Go to “Fixed Price” → Search for “Lugano” → Click on “C.S. Menaggio – Lugano (Lugano – Menaggio) Tariffa 29”.
After purchase you have to activate the ticket in the app!
Get off at the bus stop Ghiacciata in Carlazzo (2nd bus stop after crossing the river, or ask the driver)
Winter time table (from 12.09. to 08.06.) , Summer time table (from 09.06. to 11.09.). The bus stop Ghiacciata is not listed, the closest one is Piano Mulino.
You can also use Google Maps to check the departure times, but the duration of the trip given there is wrong and it always show as if you would have to change at the border, which is not true.
