Here we collected a few topics that help you getting started at the Workation Castle
Where can we park our car?
Please park your car along the road that leads up to the castle. To unload your luggage, you can also park briefly in front or even in the castle.
Are towels and bedsheets provided?
Towels are provided and included in the price you paid. There are one big and one small towerl per person, two kitchen towels and small towels in the bathrooms .
Bedsheets are also included.
What coffee machines are there?
There are three types of coffee machines. You have a moka pot and a drip coffee machine in your house. Additionally there is a professional coffee maker in the bar. We provide the coffee beans for the coffee machine in the bar, for the other ones you would have to buy coffee powder.
Can you recommend places to eat?
We have a whole page about tips and recommendations about restaurants and catering.
Do you have a barbecue?
Yes, there is a barbecue that you can use. Check the small chamber in the fireplace room.
Please don’t use the barbecue after 10 p.m. since there are other people in the castle that could be disturbed by that.
Can we use the terrace behind the bar?
The terrace is part of the shared space and for you to use. When the houses are used by separate groups, the terrace is reserved for the guests of Casa Tremezzo.
How much visitor's tax do we have to pay?
The visitor’s tax is 1€ per person per night. Please put it in the corresponding cup in the kitchen or transfer it to our bank account: IT81 O056 9652 0100 0002 1289 X77 (Workation Castle s.r.l.)
Is there a washing machine?
Each house has its own washing machine that you are free to use anytime.
What other facilities are there?
Besides your house, there is the co-working area that is for all guests to use. Your keys open all the doors necessary. You can follow the yellow signs to the bar and explore the rooms a bit, also upstairs.
In the small room downstairs in the co-working area, there is also a table football that you can use!
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are allowed but you have to inform us beforehand and pay an extra 50€ cleaning fee. Please put it in the cup for the visitor’s tax.
If you let your dog in the garden, please close the gate at the stairs, so it cannot go to the other house. And make sure to check the garden for things they might have left behind.
Is there air conditioning?
No, unfortunately we don’t have air conditioning anywhere. We have a few fans that you can use. You can find them under the stairs in Casa Tremezzo. In Casa Galbiga you can use the fans mounted on the walls, using the remote control.
How good is the WiFi and internet connection?
We have a 200 Mbit business connection that is very reliable. We have access points in every room in the co-working area and one in each house. You can find the password written on the getting started sheets in your house.
How can the rooms be darkened for the night?
Each room either has blinds that can be closed by opening the window and pullling them in or they have curtains. Please note: in Casa Tremezzo, one room has curtains but the other one has blinds!
How does the recycling system work?
Please separate your trash by paper, organic, glass and plastic & metal. Anything that does not fit in the previous groups can be put in the residual (mixed) trash bin. When the bins inside your house are full, you can bring the bags to the collection point next to Casa Tremezzo.
